efeEfe Tokunbo is from a planet whose trajectory he hopes will intersect with Earth sometime before the coming Apocalypse.

He spent most of his time on the road, exploring the far flung corners of the Earth and the sweet spots where honesty meets the abyss. In his travels he has witnessed a unifying theme: the rich and powerful use institutions, ranging from religions to governments to the IMF, to steal resources and life from the people. The devastation of the planet is merely a by-product.

He’s also an African writer lost in Maya and currently living in Mexico. He’s been published in a variety of literary journals and anthologie (“Diaspora City”, Chimurenga, The Ranfurly Review, Thieves Jargon, Best New Writing 2011, Curbside Splendour…).

Proposition 23 was nominated for the 2013 BSFA awards.
